Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by a guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Spend the day at leisure and prepare for your eco-village visits.

Day 2: Mbahe Village visit
After breakfast, your guide will take you on a drive to Mbahe Village, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with the local people and learn about their traditional way of life. You’ll visit local schools, health clinics, and conservation projects, and participate in cultural activities such as dance and music performances. You’ll also have a chance to hike in the local forests and learn about the traditional medicinal plants used by the villagers. In the evening, you’ll return to your hotel in Arusha.

Day 3: Ilkiding’a Village visit
After breakfast, your guide will drive you to Ilkiding’a Village, located in the foothills of Mount Meru. You’ll learn about the organization that has been established in the village to promote eco-tourism, and visit local projects such as organic farming, beekeeping, and water management. You’ll also have a chance to hike in the local forests and learn about the traditional medicinal plants used by the villagers. Lunch will be provided in the village, with local dishes made from fresh ingredients. In the evening, you’ll return to your hotel in Arusha.

Day 4: Arusha City tour
After breakfast, you’ll take a city tour in Arusha to learn about the local history and visit cultural centers such as the Cultural Heritage Center and the Tanzanite Experience. You’ll also have the chance to explore the local markets and buy souvenirs. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. In the evening, return to your hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home or continue with your Tanzanian adventure.
