Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
- Activities: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to your hotel in Moshi.
- Accommodation: Hotel in Moshi (e.g., Springlands Hotel or similar)
- Meals: Dinner (if arriving early enough)
Day 2: Moshi to Rongai Gate – Hike to Simba Camp
- Elevation: 1,950 m to 2,650 m
- Hiking Time: 3-4 hours
- Activities: After breakfast, drive to Rongai Gate for registration. Start the hike through the lush montane forest, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature.
- Accommodation: Camping at Simba Camp
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3: Simba Camp to Second Cave Camp
- Elevation: 2,650 m to 3,450 m
- Hiking Time: 4-5 hours
- Activities: Continue hiking with views of the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks as you ascend through moorland.
- Accommodation: Camping at Second Cave Camp
- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4: Second Cave Camp to Kikelewa Camp
- Elevation: 3,450 m to 3,600 m
- Hiking Time: 5-6 hours
- Activities: Hike through the alpine desert zone, enjoying spectacular views, and acclimatizing your body to the altitude.
- Accommodation: Camping at Kikelewa Camp

Day 5: Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Camp

- Accommodation: Camping at Mawenzi Tarn Camp

Day 6: Mawenzi Tarn Camp to Uhuru Peak (Summit) and Descend to Horombo Camp

- Activities: Depart around midnight to reach Uhuru Peak at sunrise, then descend to Horombo Camp.

Day 7: Horombo Camp to Marangu Gate – Departure to Moshi
- Elevation: 3,720 m to 1,840 m
